The Big Blue Marble Bookstore has been nominated for the Pannell Award by the WNBA (Women’s National Book Association)!
Established in 1981 to honor Lucile Micheels Pannell, a model book woman and children’s bookseller, the Pannell Award recognizes retail bookstores that excel at inspiring the interest of young people in books and reading.
We are one of thirteen bookstores across the country that have been nominated this year, and we will be submitting materials to their panel of jurors who will select the winning store.
