		<description><![CDATA[American INSIGHT's first annual Free Speech Film Festival's Free Speech Awards will take place on Wednesday, May 16, 2012, in the Benjamin Franklin Hall of the American Philosophical Society in Philadelphia, PA. Creative filmmakers from 16 nations around the world entered their work as a response to the subject of Free Speech. The Festival has been created and developed over a period of six years by founder and chairman, Margaret Chew Barringer. The Festival takes a close look at the topics of Free Speech and in 2012 include censorship, resistance, inequality, courage, change, and hope.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[This Friday, April 27th from 8-10pm Zoodada comes home to the Random Tea Room for an intimate evening of poetry and music. 

Featured musician this month is Christopher Strawley who will be exposing us to some of his experimental piano finger flighted fancies. Christopher Strawley is a songwriter and composer whose songs tell stories which draw from tragedies and life experiences to paint a picture of hope for the listener. 

Featured poet this month will be Kitakiya Dennis. Kitakiya is based in West Philly and describes herself as a full time artist, spiritual counselor and poet. Check out her website on facebook here. Her work is inspired by the reconnection to my Indian and African cultural traditions of adorning the body &#038; honoring the soul and has been featured has been featured in Philadelphia, New York, Boston, Baltimore, Chicago and Berlin(Germany). We share with her the goal of promoting cultural exchange and holistic living through the lens of art and personal development.]]></description>

Mural Arts invites the public to participate in the making of this large-scale mural by visiting our new studio space at 327 South Street, where exhibitions, demonstrations, painting activities, and other events will be held throughout the year, beginning on Friday, April 27 with an exhibition by Tatyana Fazlalizadeh, one of the muralists. ]]></description>
